Shepheard's Hut - A4 Print.

This shepherd's hut belonged to the naturalist Roger Deakin, one of the fathers of the 'wild' movement.

A writer, documentary-maker and environmentalist his intimate portraits of the countryside inspired a generation of nature writers, walkers and  wild swimmers.

He would retreat to the hut to write and would often spend the night. Enjoying the simple pleasures of waking amongst nature.
