This image was commissioned by Lodestars Anthology for their France Issue. Is was to go alongside Dan Richards's article about the French aviator and author; Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

 

The image imagines Antoine's crash in the desert during the 1930's.  The experience which later inspired him to write one of the greatest works of children's fiction: The Little Prince.
